הרבה מחשבות מעורר בי הקיץ הברלינאי/גרמני הזה, עם ההפכפכות שלו, בין סופות ברקים ורעמים לבין חמסינים.
אחת מהמחשבות היא שכשחיים במקום בו מזג האויר משתנה כל הזמן, ולא רק שיש ארבע עונות ברורות ונפרדות, אלא גם בתוכן יש אינספור שינויים, הרי שלומדים לנצל כל מזג אויר עד תום: אם זה גשם, אני רואה ילדים מקפצים בשלוליות, ברגע שהשמש יוצאת – מיד כולם יוצאים החוצה גם, והפארקים, האגמים והרחובות מתמלאים; שלג? מיד עם מזחלות החוצה! יש משהו בעצם זה שימים חמים ושמשיים נדירים פה (בטח ובטח יחסית לישראל), של ניצול מקסימלי של כל קרן שמש. ובכלל, באיזשהו מקום יותר חיבור לטבע, כי אין פחד מגשם או מקור. כולם עדיין בחוץ, רק עם מעיל גשם.
ואני מרגישה שאני מגלה את העולם מחדש פה, ויחד איתו את עצמי.
